Edit RAW Photos Online
Open Sony ARW, Canon CR3, Nikon NEF, Adobe DNG, Fuji RAF and other camera RAW files directly in your browser — no Lightroom, no converter app, no upload. Decode, edit and export in minutes.
A real RAW workflow in the browser
- Drop your RAW file — OpticRaw decodes it with LibRaw (the same engine many desktop apps use), applying your camera's white balance as the starting point.
- Edit non-destructively — exposure, tone curve, HSL, color grading, masking, crop. The original file is never touched.
- Export full resolution — JPEG or PNG, with quality and resize options.
Supported cameras
Files from Sony (ARW), Canon (CR2, CR3), Nikon (NEF, NRW), Fujifilm (RAF), Olympus/OM System (ORF), Panasonic (RW2), Pentax (PEF), Leica (RWL, DNG), Samsung (SRW), Sigma (X3F) and any camera or phone that saves DNG.
Why edit RAW instead of JPEG?
RAW files keep far more highlight and shadow detail than JPEG. Recovering a bright sky or lifting dark shadows works dramatically better when you start from RAW — and with OpticRaw you can do it on any computer without installing software.
Frequently asked questions
Which RAW formats are supported?
OpticRaw decodes most camera RAW formats via LibRaw: Sony ARW, Canon CR2 and CR3, Nikon NEF/NRW, Adobe DNG, Fujifilm RAF, Olympus ORF, Panasonic RW2, Pentax PEF, Samsung SRW, Leica RWL and many more.
Are RAW files uploaded to a server?
No. The RAW decoder (LibRaw compiled to WebAssembly) runs inside your browser, so files stay on your device.
How long does decoding take?
Typically a few seconds for a 24–60 megapixel file, depending on your computer. After decoding, all editing is realtime on the GPU.
Can I export the edited RAW?
You export a full-resolution JPEG or PNG. The original RAW file is never modified — editing is completely non-destructive.
Works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Your photos are processed on your device and never uploaded.
