Fujifilm Film Simulations — On Any Photo

Love the Classic Chrome or Eterna look but don't shoot Fuji? Apply real film-simulation color profiles to photos from any camera, right in your browser.

The looks

Provia (balanced slide film) · Velvia (vivid landscape) · Astia (soft portraits) · Classic Chrome (muted documentary) · Classic Neg (nostalgic negative) · Reala Ace · Pro Neg Hi / Std (studio portrait) · Nostalgic Neg · Eterna (cinematic flat) · Bleach Bypass (high-contrast desaturated).

These are real color-profile LUTs, not slider recipes — the same color science you get when picking a film simulation profile for RAF files in Lightroom, made available for photos from any camera.

How to apply a film look

  1. Open OpticRaw and drop in any photo — JPEG, HEIC or RAW.
  2. Open the Presets panel and hover the Film Sim group for a live preview.
  3. Click to apply, then use the Amount slider (0–150%) to taste.
  4. Fine-tune with tone curve, HSL or grading — then export.

Shooting Fuji? Even better

Editing RAF files? Apply the simulation your camera was set to — or audition all eleven on the same RAW file to find the look you actually prefer, something the camera can't do after the shot.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use Fujifilm film simulations on photos from other cameras?

Yes — that is exactly what this page is about. The film simulations are applied as color LUTs in the editor, so they work on JPEG, HEIC and RAW files from Sony, Canon, Nikon or any other camera.

Which film simulations are included?

Provia, Velvia, Astia, Classic Chrome, Classic Neg, Reala Ace, Pro Neg Hi, Pro Neg Std, Nostalgic Neg, Eterna and Bleach Bypass.

Can I control how strong the film look is?

Yes. The Amount slider blends the film simulation from 0 to 150%, so you can go subtle or push the look harder than default.

Can I still edit colors after applying a film simulation?

Yes. The simulation sits in the pipeline like a profile — tone curve, HSL and color grading apply on top, exactly like editing with a camera profile in Lightroom.

Can I import my own LUTs?

Yes — .cube LUT files can be imported as presets, alongside Lightroom .xmp presets.
